GOQii Announces $10 Mn Investment From Animoca Brand and the Launch of Health Metaverse

Animoca Brands announced that they are funding GOQii Inc. $10 million in an extended Series C Equity round of fundraising.

GOQii is a cutting-edge technology-oriented healthcare platform that connects users to the full preventative healthcare ecosystem. Fitness tracker, app, coaching, health store, insurance, and other services are available through GOQii.

Animoca Brands, one of the global companies in gamification and blockchain, invested in over 170 NFT-related companies along with some decentralized projects. GOQii will work with Animoca Brands and its ecosystem firms and initiatives to produce a variety of preventive healthcare services that use blockchain tokens and gamification.

The Token, a unique virtual token program, will power GOQii’s metaverse environment. The virtual token will be given to customers, and it will fuel the GOQii metaverse ecosystem, which incentivizes healthy behaviors and gamified fitness activities. Users can use these tokens to get access to the curated and discounted health-focused goods, medical services, and insurance products, as well as unlock products, services, purchase NFTs and game modes, and access curated and discounted health-focused goods and insurance products.
